Saturday night is the CD Release Party for Holy Moly's new album, Grasshopper Cowpunk. It's going to be ridiculously crazy that night, but for now, I'm feeling calm and reflective. Quite the change over last night when, after rehearsal, I cried. I just have that much of an emotional attachment to this album. They were tears of happiness, of course.
It blows my mind to think of everything that went into the album, the journey it took to get here, and how much they have all grown. I am especially proud of Joe Rose. When it came time to be strong, I think even he was surprsied by just how much strength he has inside him. Joe, Hannah - I love you both dearly and am grateful on a daily basis to know you. I can't wait for March.
