My little mini was was big enough to gut her own pumpkin this year, and even though she wasn't crazy about the slimy guts, she hung in there and got her punkin cleaned out properly. Maybe it has something to do with her immense love of pumpkins. She is pumpkin crazy right now - in fact, the only way we can get her to eat is to put her food in her pumpkin; peanut butter sandwiches, fruit snacks - it doesn't matter. Has to be in the pumpkin. Grateful for the gorgeous Sunday morning weather, and for my 2 beautiful, happy children, my husband - a pumpkin carving veteran by now - and my dad who was ready with the power tools to get those bad boys cut open.

That looks like so much fun! I haven't carved a pumpkin in years, but I almost bought one several times this month. Maybe next year. Do you cook the seeds? Such a yummy treat!
