Oklahoma City Trip

Mom took us to Oklahoma City this past weekend for a fun little road trip.

Outside the WinStar Casino...

INSIDE the WinStar..... Yeah, playing with hats is cool.... She's so 4th of July!... NO HAIR! NO HAIR! Getting ready to ride the Water Taxi in downtown OKC... Lucy, being her usual serious self outdoors... DANG that's a pretty baby!Me and my girls.... Pete and Repeat.... Talking to my Mini about the boat... The OKC Mural, in mosaic... Mom and Mini on the water taxi... ... My FAVORITE picture from the whole trip!!! She wanted to walk. In the boat. And then she wanted to crawl. In the boat. At the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial... The pond represents the size of the building, and the wall shows the height... ... Each chair represents someone who was killed... At 9:03, the building was gone... The smaller chairs represent children who were killed... ... Mural for the children... Charley was very affected by the memorial... Leaving a chalk message to the survivors... Our sweet girl... She literally wanted to look at every token on the fence...

...
" We come here to remember those who were killed, those who survived, and those changed forever. May all those who leave here know the impact of violence. May this memorial offer comfort, strength, peace, hope and serenity."
Statue across the street from the Memorial...
Back at the hotel!
Spoons are yummy...
Lou LOOVED the hotel room cause she could crawl everywhere!!!
And I didnt even tell her she couldnt get her hands all over the glass...
...
Who's that pretty girl!
Charley, reading to Daddy. She's such a good reader! Who, me?
At the National Cowboy Museum...
Charley and John Wayne...
Can I get an AMEN!?!
My organ player...
Prairie School....creepy....
Stick 'em up!
Did they have Fresca in the 1900's??
Yeah. We're hotel folk.
Carriages are funny...
Take THAT, Ronald!
"Hey baby..."
'Hey, that's MY man!!!'
...
Ok, the girl who HATES hats, loooooved this one...
It's creepy, but it's also cute...

Thanks, mom, for an AWESOME trip! We had a blast, and I know the girls loved getting to go on vacation with their grandma. Can't wait for our next adventure together!
